Heathwood CFC EA Negotiation Update #1

The first meeting to negotiate your new Enterprise Agreement took place on Tuesday October 15 with your SDA Delegates and Representatives in attendance.

There was an exchange of the Log of Claims of the bargaining parties with the SDA Delegates explaining the issues that are important to our members and Heathwood employees in general. The focus for the SDA was on strong wage growth, better penalties and improved job rotation.

The SDA bargaining team also took the opportunity to digitally table a clause concerning “a fair weeks work for a fair weeks pay” and address the importance of a fair go when it comes to work performance.

There are two further bargaining meetings scheduled next week for October 22 and 23, as we push for an improved deal for Heathwood SDA members.  This is your site, your pay and your rights. We need your input so please speak with your Delegates and Organiser about the negotiations and what is important to you.
